A new home for an old craft
The Bronze Store opened in Tripunithura in January 2023 — a showroom for handcrafted bronze and brass, with roots in a family that has worked with metal for 120 years.

Our family's story with bronze and brass began in Mannar, Kerala, over 120 years ago — from household vessels to temple works, carried on today by PRM Swami Mannar.

Moulded in clay
Each piece starts as a clay mould, shaped by hand around a pattern.

Cast in fire
Molten metal is poured into the mould — the same way it has been done for generations.

Shaped & turned
Once cool, the casting is broken free, then turned and shaped by the craftsman.

Hours of filing and polishing bring out the warm golden glow of the metal.
